Singapore Hosting Inside Bitcoins 2015 Conference

The major cryptocurrency event, Inside Bitcoin, will be held next year in Singapore on January 29-30, 2015. Event sponsors are encouraging people to reserve tickets early and are offering discounts to those who pre-register. Group rates are also being offered.

The exhibition and show will be held at the Suntec Singapore Conference and Expo over a two day period and feature both conference sessions and exhibits. Organizers say that whether attendees are Bitcoin rookies or cryptocurrency experts, there will be something for them to see and learn.

Speakers

A number of the industry´s top thought leaders, including Steve Beauregard, CEO and Found of GoCoin.com, Tomas Forgac, Founder of Coin of Sale, Zennon Kapron, Managing Director of Kapronasia and Neal R. Blackburn, co-Founder, Cloud Mining Singapore. This group will be discussing topics such as blockchain technology, compliance and regulation, derivatives and arbitrage, financial privacy and altcoins, as well as other topics.

Media Partners

Cointelegraph, one of the events media sponsors, will be joined by will be joined by the Chamber of Digital Commerce, Bitcoin Singapore, the Bitcoin Security, Bitcoin News and Startup Bootcamp.

Events such as this are important because they give both attendees and speakers a chance to get together and discuss implications for the future of Bitcoin, decentralized, peer-to-peer global currencies and investment and start-up strategies. Because 2014 saw such huge advances for Bitcoin in its adoption by numerous large retail chains such as Dell, Microsoft and OverStock.com, conferences allow industry leaders to plan for the future. 

Organizers have said that registrations are open to anyone and developers, entrepreneurs, private equity, corporate; angel and venture investors are especially encouraged to attend.

         Ticket prices for the Singapore event will range from S$199 for a one day early bird conference pass to S$499 on site full two day conference pass and tickets can be purchased at the events website.                  

The Berlin conference will be held in Veranstaltungsort and the New York show will be in the Javits Convention Center in Manhattan. The rest of the shows are scheduled but sites have not been selected.

SBI's digital asset branch and SIX exchange plan joint crypto venture

Singapore is exploring wholesale CBDC, local exec says
Singapore is exploring wholesale central bank digital currency, or CBDC, said Sopnendu Mohanty, chief fintech officer at Singapore’s central bank and financial regulator, the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Crypto Exchange Binance to Launch Singapore Branch in April, CZ Says
Changpeng Zhao (CZ), CEO of second-largest crypto exchange Binance, has announced that its branch in Singapore will open in April.
