These 2 indicators gave traders a buy signal hours before Filecoin and Near rallied
In financial markets, the uneven distribution of information comes hand in hand with the uneven distribution of economic power. Still, regular traders can profitably leverage publicly available, market-moving news if they are lucky enough to get to it before the rest of the pack. Research suggests that certain types of news announcements — such as those related to staking, listings and partnerships — have the greatest potential …

Bitcoin ‘will remind everyone who the king is,’ says trader as BTC dips to $44K
Bitcoin (BTC) fell to test $44,000 on Wednesday, with traders still bullish on new all-time highs. Eyes on $42,000 for higher low Data from Cointelegraph Markets Pro and TradingView showed BTC/USD hitting local lows of $44,215 on Bitstamp overnight. A continuation of consolidation seen on Tuesday, the latest dip marks a $3,800 comedown after Bitcoin saw rejection at $48,000 several days ago. This was expected — seller pressure from that level and upward remains significant, with bulls so far lacking the momentum to absorb their positions. For popular trader Pentoshi, however, this was just a temporary feature. Bitcoin, he argued …

Pro traders know it's time to range trade when this classic pattern shows up
A bull trend is formed when demand exceeds supply, and a bear trend occurs when sellers overpower the buyers. When the bulls and bears hold their ground without budging, it results in the formation of a trading range. Sometimes, this leads to the formation of a rectangle pattern, which can also be described as a consolidation or a congestion zone. Bearish and bullish rectangles are generally considered to be a continuation pattern, but on many occasions, they act as a reversal pattern that signals the completion of a major top or bottom. Before diving in to learn more about the …

Bitcoin’s (BTC) 65% recovery from sub-$29,500 on July 20 to a swing high of $48,200 on Aug. 14 took less than a month and helped bring fresh bullish momentum back to the crypto market and to traders who were dreading the prospect of another prolonged bear market. Ghana’s digital cedi must emulate cryptocurrencies, Afroblocks states
The latest central bank digital currency (CBDC) initiative from the Bank of Ghana (BoG) has been met with skepticism as Afroblocks, an in-house independent association, speculates the lack of clarity on the central bank’s intentions. Afroblocks (previously Blockchain Society Ghana) has warned the BoG to steer away from “old traditional siloed financial thinking” while planning and developing its digital currency. Rather, Afroblocks co-founder Omar Majdoub said that the success of a CBDC in Ghana will be in its ability to emulate modern-day cryptocurrencies — i.e., being borderless and decentralized. The BoG has partnered with German securities printing firm Giesecke+Devrient (G+D) …
