Blockchain-centric smartphone Exodus, developed by consumer electronics giant HTC, announced that it has partnered with web browser Opera as well as added support for multiple DApps. Unconfirmed: Crypto Startup Enjin to Back Rumored Samsung Galaxy S10 Blockchain Wallet
South Korean crypto company Enjin Wallet has reportedly been appointed by Samsung to back a blockchain wallet in its new Galaxy S10 smartphone, anonymous sources told Asia Crypto Today on Monday, Feb. 25. The anonymous interlocutors provided an image to the outlet that was purportedly posted by Tworld — Korea’s second largest telecom company. The screenshot shows the Enjin wallet being used in the Galaxy S10 for Ethereum (ETH) transactions. Fake MetaMask Crypto Malware Pulled From Google Play After Tipoff
Decentralized app (DApp) MetaMask is facing fresh problems from cryptocurrency scammers after malware impersonating the tool appeared on Google Play, cybersecurity company Eset reported on Feb. 8. The malware, which replaces computer clipboard information in an attempt to steal cryptocurrency, was removed by Google at the beginning of the month after a tipoff from Eset researchers. Known as a “Clipper,” the malware replaces copied cryptocurrency wallet addresses with an address belonging to an attacker in the hope that funds will be sent elsewhere without the user noticing. Opera Android Users in Sweden, Norway and Denmark Can Now Purchase Ethereum via Browser
The Android version of major web browser Opera now integrates a function that lets its users purchase Ethereum (ETH) through the browser, a press release shared with Cointelegraph on Feb. 6 reveals. According to the press release, the new service is available to users based out of Sweden, Norway and Denmark due to Opera’s new partnership with brokerage firm Safello.
