Circle launches euro-backed stablecoin EUROC
USD Coin (USDC) issuer Circle Internet Financial is launching a fully-reserved stablecoin pegged to the euro, signaling to the market that demand for crypto foreign exchange services remains high despite recent industry turmoil. Digital euro could come as soon as 2026 — ECB official
Fabio Panetta, an executive board member of the European Central Bank, or ECB, has said that a digital euro could come within four years, potentially designed with a person-to-person payment solution.
