DEX aggregator attempts to advance DeFi adoption with the announcement of upgraded swap engine
Similar to the mid-1990s dot-com era, cryptocurrencies are said to be nearing a phase of hyper-adoption, where growth hits an inflection point and begins a trajectory towards the moon. Looking at the past decade, cryptocurrency adoption can largely be attributed to the emergence of exchange platforms. With numerous exchanges at play, many first-time users have successfully braved the path into the world of digital currencies. Ironically, while these exchanges have been key to the success of cryptocurrency adoption to date, they have also been the cause for a new debate, one between using a centralized exchange (CEX) or decentralized exchange …

In explaining why he was not preemptively banning all Russians (though, Coinbase is not available in Russia), Brian Armstrong, CEO of Coinbase, specifically wrote: "We believe everyone deserves access …

Just between July 2020 and June 2021, ransomware activity soared by a whopping 1,070%, according to a recent Fortinet report, with other researchers confirming the proliferation of this mode of extortion. Mimicking the prevalent business model of the legitimate tech world, ransomware-as-a-service portals popped up in the darker corners of the web, institutionalizing the shadow industry and slashing the skill ceiling for wannabe-criminals. The trend should be ringing a warning bell through the crypto ecosystem, particularly since ransomware attackers do have a knack for payments in crypto.
