Carbon-neutral Bitcoin? New approach aims to help investors offset BTC carbon emissions
Billion-dollar companies across the globe are betting big on Bitcoin (BTC). Recent analysis from European investment manager Nickel Digital Asset Management found that 20 publically listed companies with a market capitalization of over $1 trillion have about $9.6 billion invested in BTC. Individual investors are also taking an increasing interest in the asset. The “Third Annual Bitcoin Investor Study” from Grayscale Research found that demand for Bitcoin has risen tremendously. Kraken exchange defies competitors’ regulatory concerns with SHIB listing
United States-based digital asset exchange Kraken has announced it will begin supporting the viral meme coin Shiba Inu (SHIB) as of Nov. 30. There will be a minimum deposit of 373,000 SHIB ($16 USD), and the minimum trading volume is 50,000 SHIB ($2 USD). SHIB will initially be tradeable against the USD and Euro pairs, however, Kraken Futures and Margin Trading for SHIB won’t be available at launch. Singapore millennials prefer to shop local as crypto exchange sees record trading volume YTD
With a reputation for being one of the most pro-crypto nations in the world, it comes as no surprise that a vast majority of Singaporeans have invested in cryptocurrency. According to a recent survey from the 2021 Independent Reserve Cryptocurrency Index, 66% of those polled between the ages of 26 to 45 said they owned cryptocurrencies.
